We are very sad to leave our idyllic French rural "bubble" and head back to urban Essex ! Not only because we have had a wonderful, relaxed time but it's a testement to how welcoming Keith & Julie have been. What a beautiful place and what a welcome ! This was our first attempt at a holiday as a family of four and nothing was too much trouble to make us all fell at home. The children loved the games in the garden, not to mention the fruit, vegetables and chickens which kept them out from under our feet. For the fourth time, we visited "The Old farmhouse". Everytime is like coming home. Thankyou again Julie & Keith for your warm welcome and the feeling you give us that we are happy here. We enjoyed the lovely "marmelade" of Keith and made some jam as well. Our bikes brought us more than 500km in the beautiful villages around Montreuil Bellay. When we get home we have souvenirs from the vide greniers. Keith & Julie we wish you all the best and hopefully for us there will be a fifth visit for us in your gite. Many thanks.

We thank you for your great hospitality to us, but mainly to our both kids. Lisa loved to do the garden and Guido liked to basketball. We liked the old farm house, it was nice decorated. We loved the garden with all the games in it and the swimming pool. It was so nice and quiet late at night. Thank you for the cherry jam and the eggs. Guido and Lisa do now know where they can find the potatoes!! We surely recommend your gite and the B&B to our friends and family. All Julie & Keith's hard work has paid off. We have had a lovely stay here, upon our arrival we were met by Julie & Keith - who were very welcoming. The gite was comfortable and very relaxing. We have had a very relaxing week in your lovely gite. My only complaint is that we are now being pestered to build a chicken coop in our not so large garden!! We have kept fit with the badmington, bikes & swingball and now need to go home for a rest. Having someone with local knowledge living next door has been a great bonus. We would not hesitate in recommending the gite to anyone. Hope to see you again one day.
